WVUA TV Station
WVUA 7 and WUOA 23 are commercial television stations operated by the University of Alabama in the College of Communication and Information Sciences. Their broadcasts can be seen from Mississippi to Georgia across the Birmingham television market on Cable, Direct TV, Dish Net, U-Verse, and Over-the-Air. Their broadcast antenna is located on Red Mountain in Birmingham and reachs an estimated 1.8 million viewers in the market and up to 3 million viewers within the large broadcast signal. The stations simulcast programming and are listed as WVUA+ for ratings purposes. For many years UCPWA held their annual telethon on WVUA and WVUA continues to assist UCPWA with many of their events and fundraisers. WVUA has been a corporate sponsor since 2003.

BAILA VENUES
Baila Venues opened it's doors in July 2010 and is located in Northport, Al. off Hwy. 82 in the former Johnny Ray's BBQ location. Baila is the first private location in Northport for holding receptions, birthday parties, weddings, christianings .. just about anything you need a venue to host. The spacious location has great parking and can seat up to 200 guests. Ms. Connie Ramos is the owner and proprietor of Baila Venues and has hosted fundraisers for various Non-Profits to assist them in raising money for their cause.
